These boots work fine, but I wish I had reordered the workman's boot. That boot provides much more stability in the ankle which makes me feel more secure and confident on the roof.

These boots are well constructed....but, considering they are specifically designed for wear on a shingled roof I can only say that they are just "okay". If my roof was flat it would be fine, but on a steep pitched roof the felt coverage should go well up over the toe and they do not. Walking on a steep pitch you're walking on the ball and toes of your feet and these shoes do not have that coverage. I can't recommend them for anyone having to work on a steep pitched shingled roof.
